Magni 585 is a duplex coating that combines an inorganic zinc-rich basecoat with various colored, organic, nonmetallic topcoats. Engineered for use on constant tension hose clamps, Magni 585 is the preferred coating of the world’s leading clamp manufacturers and is widely specified by leading global automakers.
- Applied in fewer layers than conventional coatings, resulting in low-cost application and superior corrosion protection
- Developed for use on POPP (pre-opened pre-positioned) clamps
- Excellent adhesion/cohesion for glued-on clamps
- Excellent general adhesion, flexibility and chemical resistance
- Resistant to automotive fuels and fluids, including sodium hypochlorite (bleach)
